Job Description
We are looking to hire a new ROCKSTAR technician for our amazing team! We are a team-oriented company that owns the customer experience together. Throughout the year you will have opportunities to share in the success of the business. As a technician, you would be responsible for understanding different kinds of pests and their habitats. Your main responsibilities would be to inspect customers’ homes/buildings, advise them on possible treatment options, and provide services or treatments to help them with their pest problem.
Job Responsibilities
- Inspect buildings and the surrounding environment for signs of pests.
- Determine the type of treatment needed to eliminate a particular type of pest and advise customers.
- Communicating with office staff to schedule services with customers.
- Identify opportunities to offer additional company services and products.
- Use different approved control methods such as setting traps, applying chemicals, or baits.
- Apply pesticide safely in buildings or structures to needed areas by following the label instructions and complying with all safety procedures.
- Comfortable being on and around ladders/scaffolding or in small/tight spaces.
Requirements and Skills
- No experience necessary in the pest control industry, we will provide paid training.
- Must possess physical stamina to be able to withstand outside work conditions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in potentially uncomfortable environments, the majority being outdoors.
- Must be detail oriented and be able to follow detailed instructions in applying pesticide to prevent harm to the client and self.
- Must be customer focused and possess good customer service.
- Ability to self-manage time and accurately document chemicals and payments as needed.
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record in the past 5 years due to insurance
- Ability to become journeyman licensed and complete training within first 60 days
- Exceptional customer service skills

This is an office support role responsible for communicating with customers via phone conversations, and email customers with questions, paying invoices, scheduling appointments or rescheduling, and documenting notes in the system for the team.
Job Responsibilities
- This role will be performed in the Wayzata office.
- Extremely detail oriented
- Manage incoming phone calls and identify customer needs.
- Build sustainable relationships based on trust with our existing accounts.
- Provide interactive communication that is accurate, based on science, prevention, and customer focused.
- Managing a customer lead pipeline by engaging in informative conversations.
- Handle customer complaints by providing appropriate solutions and/or escalating when needed; including follow-ups.
- Recording and maintaining customer information and files using a CRM system.
- Assist team members in the field with various operational tasks.
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Requirements and Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service support role or other related role.
- Strong phone and technical computer skills, will be seasonally handling a large call volume.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
- Customer oriented and able to adapt to various conversations.
- Ability to multitask, organize tasks, manage time effectively, and self-manage.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 products such as Outlook and Word
