Interior Treatment

It isn’t always necessary for us to treat the interior of the home for spiders. Spiders that are inside made their way from the outside. When we do service inside, it is either in the winter or for homes with heavy spider activity. Our interior treatment focuses on treating unfinished rooms/furnace rooms, and basements. Unfinished rooms have the most spider activity. They have exposed wires, pipes, and foundations. Spiders and other insects that feed on us use the exposed foundation and utility lines to navigate around the house and find a way outside. If there are spiders in other rooms, we only spray the corners, behind furniture, under home appliances, and around windows. After each interior service, it takes around 2 weeks to start seeing a difference in spider activity. Residents and pets must stay off the product while it is still wet. It takes around one hour to dry and will not affect pets or people after it is dry. The product is water-based, not aerosol-based, so it will not impact breathing. The product will kill spiders that cross over any sprayed areas for over 2 months.

Exterior Treatments

Our exterior treatments are the most effective way to kill spiders on the outside and inside. We start each service by knocking down as many spider webs as we can. Our company is not a cleaning company; we use tall brush wands, but we cannot reach the peaks of every house. For homes that are heavily infested, it may be necessary to get the home power-washed before we treat it. By knocking down most of the spiderwebs, we kill all the egg sacks. Each egg sac can hatch out hundreds of baby spiders. Knocking down the webs also forces adult spiders to fall and become more likely to cross over any sprayed areas. When we spray the home, we focus on spraying around the foundation, doors, windows, corners, lights, deck railings, and soffits. Once the product dries on the home, it stays effective for 2 months. For those two months, any spider that crosses over the sprayed areas dies in 30 to 45 minutes. Keep kids and pets away from the house for 1 hour to allow the product to dry. For homes that are close to a body of water or wooded habitat, multiple spider treatments may be necessary to keep the home spider-free.
