Yellow jackets build nests in various locations. They can be found inside papery aerial nests, unused rodent tunnels, trees, tree stumps, and man-made structures. Because of all the different areas, their nests are often difficult to find. They can catch homeowners off guard and start swarming to protect their nests. Some nests are so well hidden they can be impossible to exterminate with any over-the-counter wasp killer products. Having access to the correct products is extremely important when dealing with yellow jackets.

Extermination

The products we use for yellow jacket removal are science-based and extremely effective. Only licensed pest control technicians have access to these products. Yellow jacket nests can grow to have thousands of workers living inside. But not all of them leave the nest. Most wasps live their entire lives inside the nest including the reproducing queen. These wasps will be protected against any over-the-counter wasp killer. Over-the-counter products kill the wasps too quickly and will only affect the foraging wasps that are flying in and out of the nest. The product we use doesn’t kill the wasps right away. The foraging wasps carry the product into the nest and spread it throughout the rest of the colony. After our service, it will take at least 2 weeks for our product to exterminate an entire yellow jacket nest.
